Andrea van Tol - Principal

Andrea and Gerrit van Tol have five children, 3 of which spent their primary years at Hauturu School. Andrea's maternal grandmother was born across the river from the school. Her grandmother was one of the first new entrants when the school was opened in 1918 along with her siblings. Her paternal grandmother was born at Te Mania settlement beside Rakaunui Marae. Some of Andrea's mokopuna now attend Hauturu School.
